Manny is getting ready for his job to start up as the host of the IBA World Tour. As part of his gig, he has to deliver a weekly video clip to the masses. Be sure that he’ll be sporting Premiere throughout the year. Good luck Manny V and have fun!
I subscribe to the IBA World Tour Youtube channel and you should to. Why? Because you’ll be the first to see unreal clips like the one below. When I watched it, it gave me the chills. Epic!

What’s up everyone, Manny V here. So it’s 2012 and according to the Mayan calendar, there’s going to be some major changes this year. I know for some of you, that’s a good thing. I know it will be for me. In fact, I can’t wait to see what the new year has to offer up. I know one thing for sure, Premiere Clothing and I will be pushing sick logos and strong support for those US entities, including yourself, that show love for our sport… bodyboarding. Head over to our Facebook page, Like it and let me know what you have planned for 2012. I’d love to hear what you’ve got going on. Talk to me.
I must say, I’m pretty fortunate. I mean visiting the in-laws on the Big Island and Oahu is a nice thang. And when my brother invites my wife and I to join his family for Christmas in Cabo… come on, you would make up some excuse to say no? Hellz no! So here I am in warm sunny Cabo San Lucas with the family and friends. Mauricio and Chato got wind I’d be in town, of course, they contacted me for a few sessions up the coast. I know Thanksgiving is over and done with but I’m still going to give thanks to my wife and family and to everything Cabo has giving me too, including two cool ass bodyboarders that I can cruise and enjoy paradise with. One last thing before I leave ya… I’ve been piecing together the final details for the 10 Year Anniversary of the resurrection of Cabo Freak Fest. More on that later. Christmas in Cabo? Yeah, pretty fortunate. -Manny V
What up people? Manny V here with an update on the Fronton Pro. Today was the first day we went LIVE on www.ibaworldtour.com and although the waves weren’t massive (yet), the competitors did put on a great show in the 3-4 foot Fronton. Sick wedgers and calm winds made for tons of footage and photos. Believe it or not, there were a couple competitors that were a little timid in these conditions. I can’t say names but to win here you can’t be timid.
The big news of the day, Andrew Lester and Thomas Rigby both nab those two spots on the bubble for the 24 seeds into next year’s world tour. Unfortunately for Adam Morley and Hugo Pinhero, they were on the other side on that bubble and lost out and did not qualify for the top 24 seeds. Jones Russell was another rider that was on the bubble but he lost out in the trials’ early heats and lost all hope.
Biggest scoring wave of the day… Jared Houston. His skills combined with the massive sections… oof, it was insane. Ben Player was stoked on the move because he saw Jared’s technique. He said, “it looked like he was going for an air but then went into the rotation and went completely around. Sick.” Great job Jared.
Of the four guys up for a world title, all but one did not win their respected first heat. PLC got second while, Jeff Hubbard, Ryan Hardy and Guilerme Tamega won their heats. What does that mean? There are two more heats in the leader board rounds so it all about who’s in the top 16 after the third round to advance.
Make sure you follow the IBA Youtube Channel for all the epic eye candy. I was working all day in front of the camera but here are a few my shots from yesterday. Oh, come back tomorrow for more inside scoops.
